Waiting for the Pope
This is the first important stage of Balbo's hundredth journey to Benin. Tomorrow, the Santa Bakhita hospital (built by the Padua Local Health Authority) will be inaugurated in Natitingou.
The whole country is waiting for Benedict XVI: all churches exhibit posters to greet him. First of all, Balbo has stopped in Bohicon to greet Mgr Assgoba, together with Valentina Soldo from Torino, Francine Reuter from Bassano del Grappa and Giuseppe Marzano. Then they visited the Parakou diagnostic centre and the Komiguea hosting centre. They finally met the GMM project manager Fabrizio Arigossi and Roberto Andriolo, a member of the Executive.
