News from Tchatchou

Histories of children and of little achievements which help to deal with great difficulties. The “Petites servantes des pauvres” nuns, from the Tchachou orphanage, northern Benin, sent us these stories by email, as the GMM has been supporting their center for years.

In the Tchatchou center, near Parakou, are hosted abandoned or orphan children un der six years. The nuns nourish and educate them, and take care of placing them in a new family, or replacing them in their own.

"There are now 27 children in the center - write us the Tachachou nuns -, as some of them (such as the little Abraham, Craint-Dieu and Edwige) went back to their own families.

"The children are fine: we just received one who's one month old, and four have just been baptized", write the nuns who also sent us some pictures. The Tchachou orphanage is supported by the GMM through the distance support system.
