Child sponsorship
The first child sponsorship programs by GMM date back to 1979, International Year of the Child. They were aimed to 15 children of the Bohicon nutrition centre.
Since then hundreds of shares (165 euros a year) are collected every year for child sponsorship; thanks to them orphans and abandoned children living in shelter structures can find a new family, the joy of living and playing, and boys and girls can study and receive an education or a vocational training.
Our child sponsorship is not directly linked to specific children, but aimed at supporting and funding our structures and organizations in Africa (missions, orphanages, schools, healthcare centres, vocational training centres…) that take care of receiving and sheltering children, and of giving them education and healthcare assistance.
