The Pope's Medal
The medal of the apostolic visit of Pope Benedict XVI in Benin has been sent by the Church of the West African country to Alpidio Balbo by Bishop Eugéne Cyrille Houndékon.
It was accompanied by a message of the Archbishop Emeritus of Cotonou, Nestor Assogba: “They testify your love for Africa and its children. I send you this medal of Pope Benedict XVI to renew a fraternal thanks".
