The photo exhibition is open

"We do not celebrate the past, we remember a story that still continues today, that of Balbo and the GMM", che continua ancora oggi": that's how Roberto Vivarelli, the GMM president, summed up the significance of the photographic exhibition "40 years for Africa", inaugurated today at Merano's Pavillon des Fleurs.

The inauguration was also attended by Merano's Mayor and Deputy Mayor (Günther Januth and Giorgio Balzarini), the municipal councilors Nerio Zaccaria and Carmelo Genovese, the President of City Council Pasquale Di Domenico and colonel Mario Bisica.

The exhibition shows more than 50 pictures of the first years of Balbo's missionary work in Africa and some works carried out over the last years. The photo exhibition will be open until May 20th, from 9.00 to 13.00 and from 15.00 to 19.00. The entry is free.
