The Parakou Archbishop
The catholic community of Parakou is celebrating the settlement of the new archbishop, Mgr. Pascal N'Koue. The archbishop took possession of the diocese in the north of Benin with the celebration of this morning's Mass at the Sanctuary of Christ the Redeemer of man, to which participated the Apostolic Nuncio and the other bishops of the country.
The Parakou diocese is one of the main partners of the GMM in Benin since it was lead by Mgr. Nestor Assogba. After the appointment of Mgr. N'Koué last june, the GMM sent a message of congratulations and good wishes to new archbishop, ensuring its cooperation (which started with him in the Natitingou diocese).
