The CEB Hosting Center
On the occasion of the Jubilee for the 150 years of evangelization of the country, the Episcopal Conference of Benin (CEB) started to buildn of a Hosting and Documentation Centre in Cotonou. The GMM contributes to the project.
The center will be housed in a building of three floors on the grounds of the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the CEB. It will be financed also by the Pontifical Mission and the Italian, German and Spanish Bishops' Conferences. The intervention of the GMM has been urged by the President of the CEB, the archbishop of Cotonou, Antoine Ganyé.
The structure will become a place of preparation and evaluation of pastoral and social development of the Church and a space for dialogue between cultures and encounter between the different components of society.
The CEB wishes that the Center will be ready in November, in order to be blessed and inaugurated by Benedict XVI during his apostolic visit in Benin.
