Statistics from Parakou
2685 services were made in the first eight months of the year in the Parakou "Sancta Maria" diagnostic center. These data were given to Balbo by the center's director during the GMM's president recent visit.
The structure was completed thanks to the financial support of the GMM and it works apace. From January 1 to August 31, 2011, the following services were made: 274 CT, 328 echographies, 1.490 radiographies, 52 mammographies, 541 laboratory analysis. These numbers are important, especially because they confirm that the Centre, built with the contribution of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano, is able to self-finance its own activities.
In Parakou, Balbo met also the new archbishop, mons. Pascal N'Koue, with whom the GMM cooperated during many years in Natitingou.
