New Archbishop in Parakou

Mons. Pascal N'Koué (until now, bishop of Natitingou) is the new archbishop of Parakou, the third largest city of Benin. He was appointed today by Pope Benedict XIV.

Mons. N'Koué, born in Boukombé in 1959, ordained a priest in 1986, was appointed apostolic administrator of the Parakou bishopric last November, after the resignation of Mons. Fidéle Agbachi.
