Father Toha in Merano
Father Bernard de Clairvaux Toha, coordinator of Parakou Caritas-Bdb, is currently in Merano. A few days ago he participated to the GMM directive meeting.
P. Toha choose South Tyrol to conclude his European travel (he has been to France and Germany), during which he met the international solidarity organizations that support his diocese's Caritas activities. The GMM is one of these organizations. "I have been coordinating the Parakou Caritas during the last five years, and I am very pleased with the way the GMM cooperates for our population's development", said Father Toha, who is the official representative of the GMM for the Government of Benin.
Together with the priest, the GMM executives examined the current projects, especially the 2001 wells excavation project, and education projects. In this regard, Father Toha presented the project for an agricultural center for the development of farming and breeding in the region of Parakou. The GMM intends to support this project.
