40 years for Africa
A photo exhibition at Pavillon de Fleurs (9 to 20 May 2012, Meeting Room 1 - Passeggiata Lungo Passirio), Merano, tells the story of Balbo's forty years of work and solidarity for Africa.
The exhibition "40 years for Africa. Alpidio Balbo and the GMM" consists of 50 panels which show some images which trace the stages of the work of the laic missionary from Merano, and that of the many people that have accompanied and supported him. The project has been realized with the contribution of the Special Fund for Special Fund for volunteering of the Autonomous Province of Bolzanoolunteering of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano.
The inauguration will take place on 9 May 2012, at 18. On May 15, at 18, there will be a public meeting at the Pavillon des fleurs with Mons. Houndékon (Secretary of the Conference of Bishops and Bishop of Abomey, Benin) and Fiorenzo Priuli (director and surgeon at "St. Jean de Dieu" Fatebenefratelli hospital in Tanguieta).
The photo exhibition will be open until May 20. Opening hours: 9.00-13.00 and 15.00-19.00. The entrance is free.
