GMM has promoted the creation of hundreds of wells and basins in Western Africa. To grant the access to water to people who were denied it has always been our priority, because – as we learned from experience – a well can support peoples life and boost the consolidation of teir communities.
With 3.000 euros – the so called “well share” – you can contribute to the building of a well. The cost of sinking, that depends on depth and type of the ground, and of necessary structures can be much higher, and in some cases more than one well share will be needed to carry ou particularly difficult drillings.
