Current projects
This is a brief description of the work-in-progress projects that GMM is currently supporting More information on these projects or on projects still in the planning stage can be found in the news section.
- Works to improve health and hygiene of the “Notre Dame du Refuge” center, Komiguea (Northern Benin).
- Kindergarten and Primary with bilingual teaching (French-English) for the children of Nigerian immigrant families in Parakou (northern Benin).
- Three classes of primary school in the rural village of Gbékpororo in the Diocese of Kandi (northern Benin).
- New building for the institute of specialized training for educators of the Salesian Sisters in Cotonou (southern Benin).
- Programme to facilitate the access to safe drinking water: ten wells and three water towers (“chateau de l’eau”) in the Atacora region (northern Benin); a well and a water tower in the agro-pastoral center Monsorou Djdjia, Abomey diocese (southern Benin); a drilling (“forage”) with a water tower in the kindergarten "Hibiscus", Parakou (northern Benin).
- Building and setting up of the hospital in N’Dali, Northern Benin, that will serve a population of approximately 800.000 people, granting 300 beds for patients.
